The process on your first visit.
When you come in we will address what you are feeling. When did you first notice the symptoms? How do you address them? What makes them get better, or worse? What is your body’s history of pain, trauma, or stress? You will fill out a short intake form for the first visit. As we make progress your body’s needs may change and we will accommodate that.
The body
Let’s take a look at your body objectively, seeing what is out of balance. Where do you hold your tension? We will investigate what movements are difficult and discover what muscles are engaged, or not engaged. Leave here with a new concept of how everything is connected through fascia.
The mind
Be curious of your mind when your symptoms are present. The state of mind is a part of getting better. Do you notice your thinking around the symptom? How do you speak about this problem? Myofascial Release Therapy approach is a different way of thinking.
Beyond
Are you hopeful, joyful, determined? Do you feel light or heavy? Are you connected to what is beyond your body? The Myofascial Release (MFR) can lead you to a hypnotic state, allowing you to feel beyond your body, feeling of lightness or floating allowing an overall relaxed state.
